  Congratulations to Tracey Smith and her Miniature Pinscher "Nova" on his Best is Sweepstakes win at the Empire State Miniature Pinschers Speciality February 13, in New York. (No picture available as the photographer did not take a good picture). This was Nova's first show.

  Congratulations to Diana Wilkie and "Pistol". They attended a show in Raleigh,NC March 26, where Pistol won her class then took Winners Bitch, and went on to also win Best of Breed and Best of Winners. Pistol beat her brother who was being shown as a Special and now has 3 AKC points.

  Tracey also attended this show with her Miniature Pinscher "Nova". On March 26 and 27 he won Winners Dog earning his first 3 points. More congratulations go out to Tracey for recent wins at shows held in Harrisonburg, VA. On April 10th, her Chinese Crested "Indi" took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for her first point. Her litter sister "Dora" was Reserve Winners Bitch and Best of Breed Puppy, with Traceys daughter Hayley showing for the first time. Hayley did a fantastic job handling in the Puppy Group ring. The same day Traceys Miniature Pinscher "Nova" won Winners Dog and Best of Winners as well as Best of Breed Puppy. Nova was awarded a Puppy Group 1 and went on to compete in Puppy Best in Show. On Sunday April 11, "Indi" was again Winners Bitch as well as Best of Opposite and "Dora:was again Reserve Winners bitch.

Congratulations to Debbie Hockaday on her new Champion China Bay Jessica (Jessie). She finished her championship with three majors, one of those by going WB (& BOS in Sweeps) at a regional specialty.

  

Congratulations Tracey. her Miniature Pinscher Nova is a new Champion having finished with a 3 point, 4 point,and 5 point major as well as a couple of singles. He has also earned Select dog his first two days showing as a Special. Additionally her Crested Indi took a 4 point major and sister a 3 point major at the shows in Greensboro NC. Indi was also best of Opposite sex in Sweepstakes at a Chinese Crested specialty in Harrisburg, PA recently.

  Two of Jane Bishop’s Borzois completed their AKC Championships at the Middleburg, Va shows in October. Swedish import Borscana Stratocaster finished by going WD/BW at the Potomac Valley Borzoi Club for a 5 pt. major. Korsakov’s Quintessential was WD/BW the following day for a 4 point major. Jane’s multiple specialty winning Am/Can Ch. Korsakov’s Quantum Leap (Sister of Quintessential) Was AOM/Select Bitch at the Specialty on Saturday, and BB on Sunday, making the cut in the group. Quantum Leap “Annie” was #1 Borzoi in Canada in 2009. One of Stratocaster’s yearling sons went to Hawaii recently. He is serving in the Army as their Mascot. The ‘wolfhounds’ earned their name during the Russian Revolution. Kolchak was the name of the White Russian Army commander who, when fighting side by side with the Battalion from Hawaii, said they had the tenacity of wolfhounds. Thus, since 1929 the ‘wolfhounds’ have had a borzoi on base as their mascot, continually. One of the dogs in the 1950’s came from the kennel where Jane got her first Borzoi. This brings it full circle, with one of Jane’s pups going out there after 42 years of breeding. Kolchak XV lives with an Army family who have a home with a fenced yard, a Labrador, and They are retiring in Hawaii so Kolchak will spend his entire life with them as their companion, attending functions as mascot on the base and at parades as needed.   Congratulations Tracey and Indi. GCH JRF-Evercrest'S Stop! Look and Listen completed her Grand Championship title in Winston-Salem, NC with another breed win.

  Congratulations to Tracey and Indi. Indi was selected best of breed at the Progressive Toy Dog in New York, Feb 11, 2011. Indi was also Select bitch on Feb. 13 at the Crested speciality.

  Tracey and Indi have been very busy over the last few months with multiple best of breed wins. Currently Indi is sitting at the #15 spot looking to climb to #10 or better. Tracey has also been busy showing two other dogs JRF'S Back in Black "Felix", a miniture Pinscher who now has his first major, and JRF-Evercrest's Slip Me Some Skin "Ty", a hairless Crested, who has his first major and 3 single points.
